I started Akaal Home Inspections because I wanted to do this work at my own pace, without a franchise telling me how long to spend in a crawl space. I'm licensed by Consumer Protection BC and I inspect houses, condos, and townhouses across Surrey and the Lower Mainland.
I keep up with the training that matters for this trade — building science, wiring and panels, moisture and mould, and the standards inspectors in BC are held to. Every year there's something new to learn about how houses fail.
Licence number and memberships are in the Licensing and training section below.
I take my time, I photograph anything worth a second look, and I tell you plainly what's a real problem and what's just an older house. I don't do repairs and I don't take kickbacks from contractors, so there's nothing pulling me one way or the other. The report is yours to use however you need.
Home inspectors in BC have to be licensed. Here's mine, plus the training and memberships behind the work.
